melting close up

As a little kid I used to say “my eyeballs are balling out” when I would see something unusual or had been reading for several hours and had to refocus on a more distant horizon.

And now we witness the results of too much reading (is there such a thing?). Glasses oozing and melting down the book stack from the heat of that back and forth eyeball motion. Who knew the second law of thermodynamics would come into play?

A little nod to Salvador Dali and his melty imaginings. Now, to sign off and read! Ah! Now where are my glasses? 😎
