The tricky part of this challenge was to figure out how to make the food look inedible but not actually ruin it. Enter the little phrase “perception is reality.”

I took an old motor oil container, put a caramel sauce filled spoon behind the oil container, and “poured.” My apologies for the blurred image but you get the idea. Suddenly the beautiful caramel sauce becomes suspect. Just goes to show how easily we are swayed by what we perceive.
